Mouth ulcers a.k.a sariawan are something that we commonly faced and have always been a disturbing thing! It bothers me a lot especially when eating spicy food or drinking sour drinks like orange juice. But have you ever wondered why mouth ulcers appear at certain times?
Based on betterhealth, a mouth ulcer is the loss or erosion of part of the delicate tissue that lines the inside of the mouth (mucous membrane). Mouth ulcers are mainly caused by damage to the lining inside of the mouth. So this includes:
accidentally biting the inside of your cheek or a sharp tooth
poorly fitting dentures
hard food
a defective filling
to hormonal changes and genes! This explains exactly why some people might have mouth ulcers more frequently than others.

Wait whuuut! No way, I just knew this. Thanks for sharing kak Arie! But I’m wondering - what made vitamin B better to cure mouth ulcers?
What I also learned was that contraty to popular believe, the fastest way to cure mouth ulcers is through consuming vitamin B! Not C! (And ensuring our mouth extra clean all the time. Minosep is a great mouthwash for ulcers)
